How do I access the API?

If you need custom development on top of our Veeam Cloud Connect service, our API could be the perfect way for you to set-up specific business workflows and extensive integrations. The API is currently open for qualifying partners only, and access is granted on a case-by-case basis; we expect to open our API to the general public soon.

If you are a qualifying partner, please contact your Partner Manager for account information and API documentation, or contact us to apply for a partnership.

When will the API be available to the general public?

We are targeting 1st of January 2016 as an official release date for the API to the general public.

How often is the API updated and revised?

The API is extensively developed, and changes occur daily; we are quite comfortable with the public interface itself and no longer expect to introduce any incompatibilities going forward, but this remains possible.

Upon official release, we will maintain a stable, versioned public API allowing users to implement changes and gradually upgrade between versions in a planned manner.
